YOUR CABIN IS READY!

For those in the “get away from it all” mood, the ranch cabin at Boulder Creek Ranch provides the perfect escape. This cabin is part of the an historic 160-ranch, homesteaded by a Pennsylvania gold miner in 1902. The one-bedroom cabin is far newer, and comes completely equipped with all linens, towels and dishes. All guests need to bring is a few groceries and an appetite for relaxation and adventure.

Big Boulder Creek, a major tributary of the Middle Fork of the John Day River, courses through the ranch for more than a mile. The ranch is 70 miles southwest of Baker City, and about 45 miles from John Day, surrounded by the Malheur National Forest. The property is served by Grant County Road 20, accessible from Austin Junction. The ranch cabin is perfectly situated as a base camp for any type of outdoor adventure, any season of the year.

What do guests think?
Let them speak for themselves:

"It's been an awesome weekend between relaxation
and enjoying the beauty of the landscape."

"Your descriptions of the ranch certainly weren't exaggerated."

"What a special piece of paradise - maybe hard to get to but even harder to leave."

"It's so peaceful and beautiful out here and we can't wait to visit again."

"A few days is not enough to try and soak all this in. We would love to come back."

One BCR guest, Courtney LaZier, enjoyed his stay so much
that he wrote a wonderful little ditty about it called the
"Boulder Creek Rag"
